The Morning Doves and Me!!

Sometimes I can be a little obsessed, not in a creepy way, but in a “ I can’t stop carving linoleum blocks and listening to music at 7am” kind of way.

There’s something cool about making custom linocuts for bands I love (and some I fall in love with while working on the art). Every poster starts as an idea( thank god for coffee and the morning doves on the wire outside my condo.

It gets sketched out, carved, inked and run through our press…. one-by-one. Ain’t No shortcuts, No Ctrl+Z…… It’s analog art in a weirdly changing world.

Why do I do it…. Because of the imperfections it allows. Every one of our posters is a little love letter to the bands, the music, the venue and the fans.

So yeah, I’m a little obsessed. But honestly…. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
